Haiti and Hope

Two years after the devastating earthquake in Haiti it’s all but impossible to imagine what the tiny, impoverished country has been through. Or what challenges remain. So, in an effort to find meaning in the madness which is their recovery effort, I trolled internet searching for a concise yet comprehensive summary of the situation. I highly recommend that you spend some time on The Atlantic’s photo essay. Devastating. Beautiful. Horrifying. And – most of all – hopeful. Say a prayer for the people of Haiti and all the people who are helping them rebuild their lives one community, one home and one family at a time.
