From the Stoney Creek News to CBC national radio all in one week… Uh, oh, my fifteen minutes of fame is running out!

This Sunday, I will sit down with radiant radio host Mary Hynes and appear on CBC Tapestry to be broadcast nationally on CBC Radio One (99.1 in the Toronto / Hamilton area) and on SiriusXM channel 169 around the world.

Truth is, like you, I’ll be glued to my radio listening to the interview because it was taped last November a few days before I travelled to Haiti. Given that our interview became more of a conversation, I have no idea what the producers will do with me and it’s possible it’ll be reduced to a short segment squished between smart people making really intelligent contributions about things that actually matter.

Mary and I talked about faith and finances – he subject of my LOONIE bookhttp://looniebook.com/ – and she was a joy to behold. Sitting in a small, darkened studio, I had no notes; we just chatted like we’d known each other for years. My favourite part of the interview took place before it even started: Mary’s copy of my lime green book was bookmarked with almost two dozen lime green post-it notes. Nice!

When to listen in:
2 PM Central Time
2:30 in Newfoundland
3 PM Pacific Time
4 PM Mountain Time

If you miss the show or want to hear it again, the interview will be podcast and you can access it 24/7 here: http://www.cbc.ca/radio/tapestry or here: http://www.cbc.ca/radio/tapestry/winter-survival-guide-1.3399094/reconciling-faith-and-finances-1.3400752
